Why a Table Top Exhibition?
During Lab Africa 2009, we had many requests for an exhibition in the Western Cape in 2010. Exhibitors felt they were not getting their products to the Western Cape, they felt sending a rep to Cape Town would be very costly, flights, hotels client hosting etc. We at Lab Africa will be hosting a TABLE TOP Exhibition in the Cape. The event will be held after the World Cup on the 25th and 26th August 2010 at The Bay Hotel, Camps Bay. Build will be from 12 O'clock on the 24th of August.
Due to limited space and to ensure a low cost expo, the stands will be in blocks of 8 square meters, with the smallest stand being a 4x2 and the largest 8x2. Exhibitors will be provided with carpeting, an electricity plug point, 2 trestle tables, 2 table cloths and 2 chairs for every 8 meters. The cost will be 13,750 rand per 8 square meters.
Why should you exhibit?
Think outside the box
A TABLE TOP Exhibition provides a turnkey solution to companies wishing to gain face-to-face contact with key players in the laboratory industry. The Table Top Exhibition involves a low outlay in terms of financial cost, time out of office and organizational responsibilities, and gives a high yield in terms of high quality sales leads and company promotion. TABLE TOP exhibitions are a simple way of increasing your sales of products and services and getting your name in front of a highly technical, decision making audience.
With this in mind, the event will be staged over 2 days and to keep costs to the bare minimum, no shell scheme will be provided. To further reduce costs, exhibitors can share a container to transport branding and equipment; this can be organized through the appointed transport company. Furthermore, special accommodation rates at The Bay Hotel have been arranged for exhibitors.
The Target audience will be the traditional Western Cape industries, which will include Agriculture (fruit and viticulture), chemical, petrochemical, food beverage and pharmaceutical manufacturing, packaging, power, water sewage and effluent.
The event will be advertised via direct mail, as well as invitation tickets in the applicable media. To encourage visitors to attend, the organizers will be serving a finger fork buffet for VIP guests on both days of the show. Each exhibiting company will be given 20 VIP lunch invitations to distribute to their top clients. This will replace the traditional VIP breakfast, and give the show a less formal atmosphere.
A Table Top Exhibition is your prime opportunity to present your products and services to manufacturing professionals from a wide range of disciplines.
