The exhibition stands were truly mind-boggling with immense effort and creativeness displayed by all the exhibitors.
The VIP breakfast held for exhibitors' clients, was an unbelievable success with 800 attendees.
Visitors were delighted with not only the volume of stands, but the quality of both stands and equipment on offer, resulting in many revisiting the show during the course of the show. Feedback from overseas visitors was that they were so impressed with the equipment, organisation and conferences, they would definitely recommend Lab Africa to all their colleagues abroad.
The combined suppport from international exhibitors and our local exhibitors resulted in a truly international visitor base from around the globe. 19% from Botswana, 16% from Zimbabwe, 9% from the UK and 5% from Germany and other European countries.
Lab Africa also presented a series of conferences with top level speakers. As a testament to the status of the conferences, the conferences were awarded Continuous Professional Development Status (CPD) by the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA). Exhibitors also held their own conferences and seminars and invited visitors at the show with no charge attached.
We look forward to another knock out Lab Africa show in 2011.
